| Comment | That all sounds like good advice, thanks a lot. Luckily we already have our own lock on the property as when we moved in the door wasn't secure and the landlord refused to pay for it so we got it done ourselves. We are currently witholding rent in a separate account and will pay it back if they agree to a rent rebate for the time we spent with two damaged rooms and an extension to our eviction notice. Though this does seem to have increased the urgency with which they respond, it has also meant they tell us we are 'illegalling witholding rent' at every given opportunity, so swings and roundabouts really.
I think Living Rent have emailed all the local MSPs, if one of them came on Friday that would be impressive! |
