Comment | My dad worked in Dunoon and Dingwall before we moved back to Glasgow, so I have a generic Scottish accent, whereas my wee brother sounds "more" Glaswegian.
Never questioned my accent until I first met my mother in law who thought I was English. We had a good laugh about that and said I must just be posh. I later found out after being her son in law for 8 years that she thought I was Canadian hence the accent because my mum lived there when she was younger and just assumed I did too. |
