Sure, sort out the detention centres and we'll agree 100%. However, some people fall through the cracks of the system and end up in indefinite detention through no fault of their own. I.E that 18 year old girl years back who was born here but her parents were deported. She didn't speak the language of her parents and her only experience has been Scotland. As a result, she's been held in one of these facilities for years since there is simply no legal way to resolve the situation.

In a global pandemic, I think there are other things to focus on since a lot of leeway has had to be given to immigrants due to the disruption it has caused.
