Yeah the caged children thing that people were angry about in the US was exactly the same thing. Detention pending appeal just like we have here. We have the exact same thing but with bigger cages. The US is likely going to go back to the catch and release approach that existed under the Obama administration now that Trump is gone. I hope the UK goes a similar direction. |
