| Comment | I would rather "non citizens" cutting about the country than them being taken away from their families and going through something traumatic and unnecessary while their papers are being sorted. coming from an EU immigrant, who had the luck of getting settled status without being put into some stupid detention camp for no real reason.
but tbh I would also rather have people living happy and safe lives regardless of whether they can or cannot go through the dehumanising and difficult process of getting citizenship or settled status or whatever. |
