I don't disagree - the UK approach has been far too scared of making difficult decisions, and people have been promised a timetable that was always the optimistic schedule. Sturgeon has done better than Johnson but only very marginally. There's no reason that we couldn't have been another New Zealand if we'd acted early and decisively. I also think we're currently still paying for the relaxations over christmas when the Kent and South Africa variants hit us.

On the other hand, the cases in Moray are already coming down again without increased restrictions, so hopefully a short level 3 extension and a kick up the arse from Nicola will be sufficient to see us do the same. My only worry is what 50,000 football fans are going to do tomorrow...
