I know, but I have a lot invested in the world opening up again by summer (i.e I need my university to approve my research plans) so despite feeling frustrated I will stick to the rules in the hopes that it will make things quicker overall. Third wave around august/September would be extremely bad news for me, I would have to just quit my PhD at that point.
