| Comment | That's exactly the problem. If people don't project the likely consequences of their actions into the future they'll be totally fine with denying that what they're doing is wrong or irresponsible.
I'm not assured that it directly caused a spike in cases, but I do know that the risk of that happening was increased unnecessarily.
