In cities with functional bus systems (admittedly an alien concept to First Glasgow) people show up to the bus stops when they think the bus will come. So it's a bad look if Mabel walks to the bus stop for 10:10 to catch the 10:14 only to watch it motor past her at 10:08.
First Glasgow solve this problem in their usual innovative style by conditioning customers to treat the posted timetables as abstract art rather than a guide to when the bus will appear at a given stop.

In Edinburgh they actually do this where they can stop without blocking the road. |
