| Comment | Only a week like it was only three weeks to flatten the curve 14 months ago... They have no idea how long it'll be until the figures go down again on the Southside, and given that they aren't changing from level 3 back to level 4 no additional rules are being put in place to stop the rising cases. So without changing restrictions, the only mitigation is the increased targeted vaccine response, which will take time to administer and then further time to take effect.
Pretending it is going to be a week only gives people hope that will then be taken away, just like the move to tier 2 has. |
