| Comment | Lockdowns are a total affront to liberal democracy and should only be used as an absolute last resort to buy time, not as a 'just in case'. Yes they prevent transmission but at the expense of every single other aspect of society. Hugely damaging sledgehammer taken to our way of life.
The chance of any individual getting seriously ill if they haven't already been vaccinated is vanishingly small. 7/10 people in the UK have antibodies either from exposure or vaccination. We need to be more bullish in pushing back at civil liberties infringements coming from specialists with a narrow focus on epidemiology and no consideration for anything else. |
