This part of Sauchiehall street is where young Glaswegians go to get pissed on the weekend. Personally i’d avoid it as i can be a bit of a warzone when the pubs and clubs close BUT I’d probably have enjoyed it in my late teens/early twenties.
Have you looked elsewhere in the city? Centre isn’t always the best place to live, imo.
