That is generally considered one of the more genteel neighbourhoods around Glasgow (technically East Dunbarton)Sorry to hear about your experiences but you must have just got unlucky with your immediate neighbourhood and neighbours. I've lived in Springburn, Maryhill and Cessnock and only Springburn was rough as...my current neighbours are a real mix of weegies, eastern europeans and indian/bangladeshi and I have never had a more friendly bunch. Pleased to say my initial concerns in moving were completely unfounded! |
