| Comment | Having read through the "official" "guidance", I think its very unlikely anyone will be challenged regarding travel as long as they are not involved in some other dispute with the law. Travel outside your council boundary IS possible. I think everyone's mental health has suffered badly this time and the thought of another lock-down is too much to bear. I agree with the OP, we need to keep people safe but if we act in a measured and responsible way and take all precautions, I don't see how going for a bike ride or dog walk outside the city can risk catastrophe. Of course there will be numb-nuts that act irresponsibly but collective restriction and punishment is not the way forward. Besides, if 5K football fans can march down our streets, then I don't see a valid argument for staying within the city. |
