Comment | It just serves bad food. No big mystery. There are elements of serving fast food - price, quality of ingredients, service, freshness, etc - and it fails on every front.
It survives because it's on the way out of town for both Strathclyde uni's main halls and Queen Street Station. It gets virtually 100% of its custom from drunk students, drunk tourists, and drunk out of towners, who aren't exactly a discerning crowd. The reason it is famous is because the location means a lot of people will have had a drunk Best Kebab, so lots of people have been "once bitten", and also because for a while on TripAdvisor someone called "Big Muhammad" who *claimed* to be the owner but probably wasn't went around replying to bad reviews with some admittedly quite funny patter. These have been since deleted. |
