| Comment | Government guidelines are still for under 40s to receive Pfizer or Moderna. The day of my vaccination was when the guidelines were introduced, I was meant to receive AZ and almost got turned away. Luckily, they had the resources to give me Pfizer.
Because of the Indian variant, the committee is considering relaxing these guidelines so you may find that it changes before you receive yours or, like me, on the day you turn up. It may not happen, but it depends on resources available and the threat of the virus in the area. |
