Comment | The good thing is that even if its a placebo, if it's making it easier for you to sleep then its having the same end effect as something that's not a placebo.
I wrote a paper at uni about how peoples anxiety decreased when they started regularly meditating.
There is (or certainly was at the time) a large school of thought that that's also just a placebo effect, but if it reduces the anxiety then that's all that really matters to the sufferer. |
