| Comment | From what I can gather legislation in this country hasn't caught up so they are still illegal and you risk fine and points on your license if you have one if caught without insurance.

Like most things Police are probably sound if you aren't taking the piss but all it takes is for someone to do something dangerous on one to bring it to an officers attention who might then pull you over on yours.
Like drinking a couple of cans in the park, for the most part police might not bother you but if it's on the back of a sunny day in KG then it might be a different story.
