Honestly, it's like everywhere else, there's good bits and bad bits. Main street is a bit dodgy. I've never had any junkies or the like ever say a word to me, they keep themselves to themselves. There's a lot of nonsense comments in this thread. If you can handle the city centre, you can handle bridgeton.
It's definitely caught between the old rough east end residents and the gentrified youth that's moving in.
It is a bit of a war zone when rangers won the league, fireworks waking you up at 8.30am. But it's probably 2 or 3 days of the year it's like that. |
