I live in Bridgeton and I love it here.

I'm English and posh by Glasgow standards if I'm honest and I've never had a problem in the three years I've been here. Live right on the Green and i'm in bridgeton cross daily for the train.

It's not that folk are rough, its just that they aren't financially well off and that comes with certain characteristics.

If I had the option of moving to the west end I would turn it down. I like it here. Bridgeton a great location for the centre, and all the restaurants/bars in the East End, especially in the Barras. Public transports good and I've never had a problem with my car. Only takes 12 minutes on the train to get into the west end if you're wanting to go that way, and the motorways two seconds away.

Heard the orange order parade once a few years ago, obviously covid stopped the march but even before covid it was only the one I heard. And on game days I've never had any problems either. Think its too far out for parking and walking for most tbh.

Was a bit lively this weekend but I've never seen it like that before and it was most of Glasgow too so I don't think thats a real detriment to the place.
