I've only got the crappy 90s paper thin vertical blinds so not exactly been a choice for me but I definitely second this. Sure I wake up a few times before it's actually go-time but I feel so much better for it than having an alarm scare me awake. Now considering getting one of those "natural" light alarm clocks for winter but they're not cheap.
