Again, that's a political choice. Lockdowns were never done before and there's no great correlation between overall deaths over the last 18 months and how strong/weak, long/short of a lockdown was implemented. It's highly likely that targeted measures would have had the same or better impact at much lower cost.

Pretty weak that when faced with even the slightest challenge to your accepted orthodoxy you spaz out about flat earthers.
