Really lovely flat but we were right near the top and it was still so noisy, in summer we never stayed there at the weekend because it was way too loud to have the window open.
The concierge was grumpy but so nice! I thought he was always helpful and polite.
I personally wouldn’t choose to live there again though, there are bars and restaurants (and some really great ones) but not that many. It’s become rougher and full of bammy 18 year olds due to some of the venues.
The lack of bin chute is annoying and means the lift often stinks of bins but we didn’t have an issue with beetles, there were rats on the ground floor at one point though.
We moved from there to merchant city and absolutely love it. We actually live right across from one of the clubs but the bouncers are so strict that there’s hardly any noise, just a bit when they close. If you want more feedback on other areas just ask! |
