Comment | Like you said it's not just pigeons eating them. And if you're feeding them bread, not all animals can process it properly. If anything you might be doing as much harm as good.
I've seen people just dump entire bags of breadcrumbs on the ground and jog on. No idea which animals would eat it.
Yesterday there was half a loaf, not even crumbs, sitting on the street in Finnieston. Only things that was tearing into it were seagulls.
I get the stereotype of the 'sit in the park and talk to pigeons' lady, but honestly that's not what I've observed at all. |
