Not walking/cycling distance but you can get to the international swimming centre at Tollcross direct from Partick by train to Carntyne (takes 10 mins). It’s a 5-10 min walk from Carntyne station. It was used for the commonwealth games so it’s a proper pool. Bit far out but worth considering if you are a serious swimmer
