| Comment | Yeah to be fair I've worked around it mostly, but then there's been days when I've sat on the poolside for an hour watching four people swimming up and down slow as a week in the jail, not one of them thinking, oh maybe I can go swim in the other lane as swimming in circles with that two will not impinge on my swim in any way, and let the fast person get a swim. I could get in a lane and make them swim rotation if I want, but it would cause utter chaos and make things unpleasant for everyone, so I don't, I wait. Which is infuriating on a number of levels, although hey isn't everything now. Not to be melodramatic but as a swimmer this past year really has been *the worst time to be alive.* Another lockdown and I'm gonna move into my tent on some lochside for the rest of the summer! |
