NZ chose correctly and they're essentially covid free and back to normal internally, unless theres a confirmed case, then they do short sharp lockdowns and aggressive tracing to contain it.
You're right that covid is unlikely to disappear, but things like measles,whooping cough and polio are pretty non-existant thanks to vaccinations and public health programs, I'd like to thing we can manage that with covid-19. |
