Use uSwitch. Unless you can get fibre (Virgin, Vodafone, HyperOptic etc), all ISPs will be using OpenReach and your speed will mostly depend on your distance to the cabinet and then to the exchange.

You get what you pay for to a large extent. The likes of Talk talk have crap customer service. Zen are awesome, but you do pay for that.

I used.Zen when I was in Govanhill/Strathbungo and was getting 80/20. Cost was about £35 I think.

As for WiFi, that's a function of your router. Consider placement carefully (central is a good rule of thumb) and check local frequencies to avoid interference with other signals.
