Based on your question I wonder if massive speed is what you need.

Best wifi? No matter your provider and speed wifi is managed by your router. If you have an old flat with sandstone then best wifi might need a mesh system like 'bt wholehome' this is a wifi system that plugs into your router and even if not in bt will make you have better WiFi

If however your question is best Internet provider then you need to run a search on a comparison site on your address.

In honesty virgin, bt fibre or hyperoptic are great but do you need it, can you get it and can you afford it?

Its a bit like asking best car. Well a ferrari might be best but you may not be able to afford it and you might not need 200mph speed.

Can I suggest that you have 2 options.

1 fibre to the cablinatev(40-70gb) / broadband (up to 24mb). This will all be supplied by the phone line into your house but lots of providers piggy backing on that coper cable. Use a price comparison and select on speed and price, they all use the same phycable. Typically good for a family and 20 ~ 40 devices with Netflix, gaming and phone browsers. The Ford mondao.

Fiber to the home (virgin, hyper optic, ftth) much more expensive but much faster. Useful if 4 people are all streaming and gaming together. The ferrari.
