As for flats...hard to help without knowing a budget but £180k would give you a two bed flat just about anywhere and you can certainly get cheaper than that.
If you want a house, you need to replace that "1" with a "2" at a minimum, or look outside the city, as you are doing.
Keep looking though, there's *heaps* of building going on. |
