They’re renting the first wave of flats at Shawlands Arcade out mate, they won’t ever be for sale.
The new arcade is essentially being bankrolled by the Council Pension fund and the rental income from the shops and flats will result in a ongoing payment in to the fund (It’s a decent idea for them if you think about it).
