In the City Centre my recommendation is The Dhabba in Merchant City.
If you can venture the tube ride then Wee Curry Shop on Ashton Lane (70m from Hillhead Station) is BYOB and great. Only seats about 30 covers, so book, but you will have most of the restaurant at 11.
