100% agree. Learned to dive in Malaysia and the water was crystal clear, incredible sea live and a lovely warm temperature. It was also a fraction of the price of learning to dive in Scotland whilst literally staying on a paradise island seeing incredible fish that you'd never see here.

Would honestly recommend learning to dive abroad when you can, much better value and the overall experience is so much more rewarding. If you can't wait, learn in Scotland but its cold as hell!

Scotland and the UK are good for wreck diving and there are places you can dive with seals which is lovely, however you can see really cool wrecks abroad (e.g. Malta) too.
