| Comment | I'm glad you had a helpful experience with this but not everyone has. Sometimes it is because people don't want to fully engage but sometimes it is also because the gp or mental health teams do let folk down. I know someone who got diagnosed by a psychologist to have a severe mental illness and got handed a leaflet and told to 'look it up'. Safe to say that person is still going around in circles trying to get the correct help. I second the opinion of going through a charity, that is their purpose and not driven by money or statistics. |
