| Comment | I'm a self employed barber in west end. Some clients tip some dont, I really dont expect it but its always nice to get something extra. It definitely helped me after only working 3 out of the last 12 months. I often pay it forward when I get a taxi or a meal in a restaurant.
After my chair rental, equipment costs and taxes you come out with very little after a £20 haircut despite what you may think we earn.
If you don't tip your stylist its really not a problem, dont think too hard on it. |
