The ones you ignored.

What do you think of the case rate falling? It was increasing and peaked at 148 last week and now at 132, do you think that’s encouraging?

If your idiotic point that Glasgow was kept in level 3 for the Euros was in response to that, I suggest you read up on correlation and causation.

I mean don’t you think we were kept in level 3 because we had rising case figures? At that point it was also not knows if the link between case numbers & hospitalisations had been broken by vaccines. This was because we had really just emerged from a nationwide lockdown so case numbers were already quite low and it wasn’t possible to tell the impact of the vaccines.

You say nothing substantial has changed in the last few weeks but I would argue that cases being on the rise and cases now on the decline is pretty significant no?

Also the understanding that the link between cases and hospitalisations being broken is also significant.

It was also announced today that this will take us away from an elimination strategy to a managed one. Which isn’t that good? Many people having been challenging the elimination strategy now we have vaccines and that’s now the path the Goverment are on.
