My neighbour cuts my hair and doesn't take anything to cut the kids hair so I tend to round up for mine. Occasionally get her a wee bottle of fizz at Christmas or whatever. I always pass it off like let's not worry about trying to sort out change.
I recall as a kid my mum would give everyone who'd touched her hair in thr hairdressers a pound each. I was always embarrassed.
