I walk along Victoria Road twice a day if I walk to work, stopped while working from home for the last year and only just restarted, thoughts:

I have never felt intimidated or unsafe in this area, unlike occasionally in the West End or City Centre. This might just be a daytime thing though.

It has noticeably changed in a year: there are a lot more "alt" looking people (and, to a lesser extent, businesses) around. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the next Hillhead, but gentrification is probably inevitable, for better or worse.
