Comment	Check [SIMD](http://simd.scot/2016/). In short yes, just like anywhere there are bad areas but Glasgow is nowhere near as dangerous as it used to be. Off the top of my head (and some information is old), areas I would avoid: * Possil * Easterhouse * Castlemilk * Govan * Robroyston * Govanhill * Parkhead * Tollcross Thing is there can be nice areas in those "bad" areas and even the "good" areas can drive some folks nuts (e.g. West End and students). Oh, and people on here will probably disagree with my list!
