These pop us cycle lanes are really an accident waiting to happen. The bus stop thing is terrible as you can't go past at a normal speed. They also pool water and mud (Clarence Drive) at the ramp is dangerous. A lot in the city have the hedgehogs but they are scattered all over the place by busses and hgv's again dangerous.

A lot get swept 2 or 3 times a year but the sweepers are not meant for cycling lanes and actually leave a line of debris that is slippery or if unswept they are full of debris front the road.

I find some really dangerous and have to move onto the road which has its own dangers as cars have no idea what cyclists are there when there is a cycle lane (which is un usable).

There are also some lanes that cars park in or as so narrow that you can't fit in it. Cars think the painted lane will protect you a nd don't give space.

Glasgow really does not understand cycling.

There are some lanes that are great but I would say for every good 1 there are 3 OK and 10 bad.
