You've not answered how I get to cycle paths without, uhm, cycling. I will not cycle on busy roads in this country until there are proper cycle paths, I will continue to use the pavement when I feel I need to, and I would happily go to court for it. However I won't have to, because it's allowed, and that will be why dozens of cop cars have passed me doing so already without so much as a second glance.
