Housing in the UK is stressing me a lot as even though I have a nice job as a software engineer, I have to spend half of my salary on housing and just living in Glasgow if I want to live alone.

But then, I look back to Spain, where I am originally from, and the situation is even worse. The offer in Spain is absurdly high because of the sheer amount of housing built in that country, and people living with their parents because they can't get a job stable enough to leave. Yet the housing prices are stupidly overpriced for the average salary over here.

And this is happening everywhere. Canada, Germany, Australia, the US.
