The United Kingdom: the only country in the world where everything, even a global pandemic, pushes up house prices.

I wonder if any world events/global crisis or catastrophe would for once, just once, do the opposite. Even the 2007 financial crisis barely slowed prices down in a lot of places (like Brighton where I used to live).

What would it take? A zombie apocalypse? A Chernobyl-like catastrophe?

Someone is driving this madness - whether it's the Tories, the Daily Mail, the Boomers or Pizzagate I don't know but this is fucking insane.
