I think gentrification has got something to do with it as well. With more cafes/bars/other cool things in Glasgow now it’s attracting more people to settle down here. It’s a destination now instead of somewhere you go for uni then bolt to London. And you get more bang for your buck over hear (at the moment)

I have family trying to buy in Dublin and if you think the prices over here are crazy then have a swatch on rightmove for a similar kind of Dublin property, it’s pure mental. Could Glasgow go the same way?

I also have to stop looking At properties on rightmove. I’m not even looking for a one! It’s an addiction I’m trying to kick. I need to face facts that I’m a right nosey bastard.
