last year we paid over 180k for a 3 bed ex council flat near QP which you could have bought for 140-150k only a couple of years ago. felt a lot but at 11-12% over HR we actually think we got a pretty OK deal given the market. made a generous offer and they took it off the market rather than pushing it to closing date. Sure we would have got it cheaper a short while back but the market is what it is.
