| Comment | I struggled for over 3 years with my dog as it is a fussy eater, a few months ago she emptied the bin all over the kitchen and made a real mess, bin food seems to be better than the bowl of food for some reason, I exploded and said to her "you have a full fucking bowl of food there, go and eat that fucking food" the rant had a few other "you do my head in" and numerous other swear words. As I was exploding she ran over to her bowl and ate all her food. Now when I put her food down I will say something like "eat and eat it the now" or "there's your dinner, get it ate" and she eats it. You could try being more forceful which could help, or you could try giving him treats when in the car so he associates the car with treats, get better treats such as cooked chicken to make it a bit more special as opposed to his normal treats. |
