Comment | It's not so much the idea is a bad one, it's that GCC are instituting it. They've historically done such a bad job of implementing and maintaining schemes like this that it's understandable that people are pessimistic. It would be great to have a city with nice areas and decent and affordable public transport, but that looks unlikely from the same council that can't even get their bin collections sorted.
