| Comment | Can't quite say why it's not so widely used yet, but Strathclyde University have DH, as do two council Schemes I'm aware of: Hillpark in the southside (using air source heat pumps, very high COSP) and West Whitlawburn in Cambuslang (Woodchip biomass).
Did some enabling works for another DH scheme down in Wales in September time, the local council there were apprehensive about the cost of digging up and reinstating all the local roads to install the piping but came round because the area was off-gas and they wanted to force residents away from coal/oil heating. |
