For the sake of argument, it would be entirely possible for someone to look up the landlord's name on the public register, and fake bank cards with that name and their own account no.
You have a signed agreement, stick to what that agreement says and let the other parties sort that out. Even if it's legit, if you paid the money direct to the landlord the agency might still come after you for non-payment. |
