I bought this style of ear plug recently as the standard in the ear plugs cause irritation when sleeping with them. Cutting few mm helps if you a side sleeper.
The ear putty style ones are more comfortable but I did feel. Like I'm shoving air into my ear when I seal the top. If anyone knows a way around that please let me know.
